Saying "YES" to God

jasongray whenisayyes

Artist Jason Gray says all the best adventures in his life started with him saying ‘yes’ to God. I'm sure you have good adventures that started the same way. His new song “When I Say Yes” is a song of surrender to Jesus, which ought to be the hallmark of what living the Christian life is all about. He said “maybe that's what salvation is: a simple matter of having a "yes" in your heart toward God. “

So... maybe God is prompting you now to take some leap of faith, big or small? YES is a good place to start!

Hear the song on CHRI Radio or now on YouTube!

pastorappreciationmonth-202.jpgPastor Appreciation Month is a special time that congregations set aside each year to honour their pastors and pastoral families for the hard work, sacrificial dedication and multiple blessings provided by these special people. It is typically scheduled in October but can be held at any time that is convenient for the church and the community. It is also important to remember that appreciation, affirmation and prayer support of our spiritual leaders is appropriate throughout the entire year.
