Brian Doerksen stops in Ottawa on his Level Ground tour Sunday, June 12th at Dominion Chalmers Church. He will also be at The Pembroke Pentecostal Tabernacle on Tuesday, June 14th.

I'm so looking forward to coming in June to Ontario with my team to do 'Level Ground' events throughout your beautiful province. Level Ground is the name of my latest project – but its not just a DVD/CD – it's all about how the grace of God places us all on level ground together. If you haven't heard about it, you can watch and listen to highlights on my website (www.briandoerksen.com) or check out our 'ecard'.
The Level Ground concert concept is unique in several ways. One of the key distinctives is having a couple of local 'stories of grace' featured in the concert. Another distinctive, wherever possible, is taking as many the musicians off the stage as possible and putting them out among the people. In so doing, our hope is that people visually connect with the truth of Isaiah 40.
Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. (Isaiah 40:4,5 NIV)
My heart is to build up the local church and encourage people of all generations on their journey into grace. My hope and prayer is that after the Level Ground event is done, the area churches are stronger. I want people to be inspired that transformation is taking place in their community; it might not be big and flashy, but it's profound and real because people's lives are being changed.
