My son just lost his first tooth and was sooo excited - so proud! and how he’s smiles bigger to show it off and keeps poking his tongue through the hole! Haha
Funny...I have the opposite reaction at a wrinkle or grey hair!
He reminded me to celebrate every milestone... EVEN the signs of aging.
Aging is a good thing: gaining wisdom and spiritual growth; Your definition of success becomes clearer and what matters in life. You learn to love more like Christ.
Every grey hair and wrinkle is proof that you have more to offer this world... AND the next generation.
I love how author Madeleine L'Engle puts it: “The great thing about getting older is that you don't lose all the other ages you've been."
It’s not about letting go of the past, it’s learning as you age, growing and hopefully not making the same mistakes. One day all his baby teeth will be gone and I doubt he’ll look back wishing he still had them. Happy Monday!
