Jonathan is a designer and writer with a love of theology and a heart for serving the church through technology, creativity and craft. He is author of the Pray Pals series and co-foundercofounder of Velora, a smart Bible app. Jonathan has served on church staffs, developed apps for notable ministries, and designed cards for American Greetings, and by night he performs as a jazz pianist. He and his wife, Lauren, have three girls and are members of a PCA congregation near Cleveland, Ohio.
Christy Hooper is a wife, mother and grandmother, and the creator of the P.R.A.Y. Pal characters. As a graphic designer, illustrator and photographer, her work has appeared on many products and publications, including Focus on the Family and American Greetings. She has taught Bible School at her church over the years, where her passion is teaching young children about Jesus and prayer. She lives in Hudson, Ohio with her husband, Dave, and attends Christ Community Chapel.
