As the Canadian sun finally warms our streets and backyards and the rhythm of life shifts toward an easier pace, there is a distinct feeling of "letting go" in the air. Whether you’re packing the car for a trip to the lake, firing up the grill, or simply enjoying a quiet morning on the porch, summer is a season for refreshing the soul.

But even when we take a break from our daily routines, our need for spiritual nourishment never takes a holiday.

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” (Colossians 2:6-7)

That’s why I am writing to you today. I want to say a heartfelt thank you for being the reason this station stays on the air during these quieter months. Because of your faithful support, CHRI-FM remains a constant companion for thousands of Canadians—providing the "soundtrack of hope" that keeps us grounded in our faith, even when we’re in a “vacation” frame of mind.

Although summer can sometimes be a season where our spiritual habits slide, we hear from listeners daily who tell us that a specific song or a timely Bible teaching kept them centered while they were miles away from their home church!

• Encouraging Music continues to lift spirits during long summer drives.
• Inspiring Bible Teaching provides solid ground when life feels unpredictable.
• The Christian Community remains connected, reminding every listener they are never alone.
