Our most important (and most exciting!) On Air fundraiser of the year takes place September 18th & 19th.
Join us for two fun-filled days (6AM-9PM both days) as we celebrate the lives that have been impacted through this radio ministry, and look ahead at the year to come - trusting God with what comes next.
Each year during Sharathon we choose a theme song that encourages us all, and this year we’ve chosen Young and Free’s “Hindsight” (listen below). As a station and ministry, AND in our own lives, we can look back and see God’s faithfulness over the years. God has always provided for CHRI through the generosity of His people. People like you! So THANK YOU for continuing to help make an impact on listeners across the region and beyond.

This year's budgeted fundraising goal is $85,000! All of the money raised goes towards the operating expenses of the station.

Your Sharathon 2019 grand prize* is the travel experience of the decade. You and a guest will have an all expenses paid trip as you spend 11 days touring Central Europe (Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Munich and others). Experience the infamous Oberammergau Passion Play in Germany, only performed every 10 years!
It began all the way back in 1633... Oberammergau was suffering from the Bubonic Plague. The surviving villagers appealed for Divine intervention to save their families. They vowed that if God were to spare them, they would perform a Passion Play every ten years. They say not a single person fell victim to the Plague after that. Keeping their promise, the people of Oberammergau performed the first Passion Play in 1634 and have continued to do so throughout the centuries.

*Not redeemable for cash. Trip valued in Canadian dollars. Valid for participants aged 18+. Flight is out of Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Flight returns to Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Winner is responsible for own personal travel insurance. The cost is covered for 16 meals on the 11 day trip. Must participate no later than 9:00 P.M.
