Today over 27 million men, women, and children are enslaved around the world. God hates injustice and calls us to contend for their freedom. Get equipped to speak on bahalf of the voiceless and join the fight against human trafficking on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 at the Justice Summit in Ottawa. Everyone is welcome to attend this event!

Learn about modern day slavery and how you can take action in your community and church to combat human trafficking. The Justice Summit will provide a venue to learn, connect and network with organizations involved in the fight against human trafficking. The event will feature a number of workshops to equip you to combat modern day slavery.
The Justice Summit will focus on three important components:
Minds – Understanding the issue, its causes, and solutions.
Hearts – Seeing and grasping God's heart for justice in our world.
Hands – Equipping Christians with practical means to take action in their lives, communities, and churches.
Speakers include federal politicians, international human rights advocates, human trafficking survivors, and activists such as:
• MP Joy Smith — Member of Parliament and international leader in anti-human trafficking efforts.
• Rev. Jamie McIntosh — Founder and Executive Director of International Justice Mission Canada
• Brian McConaghy — Founder and Executive Director of Ratanak International
• Shae Invidiata – Director of [free-them] and anti-human trafficking activist
• Timea Nagy – Human Trafficking Survivor and Program Director of Walk With Me
• Don Hutchinson - Director, Centre for Faith and Public Life, Evangelical Fellowship of Canada
• Stan Burditt – Founder of Men Against Sex Trafficking
