Justice Summit - Sat. May 5, 2012

Learn about modern day slavery and how you can take action in your community and church to combat human trafficking. The Justice Summit will provide a venue to learn, connect and network with organizations involved in the fight against human trafficking.  The event will feature a number of workshops to equip you to combat modern day slavery.

The Justice Summit will focus on three important components:

Minds – Understanding the issue, its causes, and solutions.
Hearts – Seeing and grasping God's heart for justice in our world.
Hands – Equipping Christians with practical means to take action in their lives, communities, and churches.

Speakers include federal politicians, international human rights advocates, human trafficking survivors, and activists such as:

MP Joy Smith — Member of Parliament and international leader in anti-human trafficking efforts.  
Rev. Jamie McIntosh — Founder and Executive Director of International Justice Mission Canada
Brian McConaghy — Founder and Executive Director of Ratanak International
Shae Invidiata – Director of [free-them] and anti-human trafficking activist
Timea Nagy – Human Trafficking Survivor and Program Director of Walk With Me
Don Hutchinson - Director, Centre for Faith and Public Life, Evangelical Fellowship of Canada
Stan Burditt – Founder of Men Against Sex Trafficking
