Praying in Unity for Our City

cityonourknees 330Pray Ottawa is calling for a special week of prayer for our city, from January 14th – 20th.
City leaders, churches, and individuals are encouraged to pray together and seek God for greater things for our city in 2018.

• Burning Hearts House Of Prayer is hosting a ‘Testimonies and Prayer’ night
WHEN: Sunday, January 14th @ 6pm - 9pm
WHERE: East Gate Alliance Church (550 Codd's Rd, Ottawa)

• Prayer for our City at CHRI Radio studios
WHEN: Tuesday, January 16th between 12pm – 3pm (drop-in)
WHERE: 1010 Thomas Spratt Place, suite 3

• Prayer for the West-End of Ottawa
Four congregations (Woodvale Pentecostal, Arlington Woods Free Methodist, All Saints Lutheran and Vineyard Ottawa) along the Greenbank/Pinecrest Corridor are gathering to pray for their neighbours.
WHEN: Tuesday, January 16th @ 7pm - 8:30 pm
WHERE: 51 Greenbank Rd (at Vineyard Church)

• Prayer & Worship in Stittsville/Kanata
A joint multi-denominational service (so far: Community Bible Church, Chapel Ridge Church, Brookside Baptist Church, Bridlewood Community Church of the Nazarene, and St. Thomas Anglican Church.)
WHEN: Tuesday, January 16th @ 7pm
WHERE: 1600 Main St South, Stittsville (Community Bible Church)

• Pastors Prayer Time for the City for Pastors & Christian leaders
WHEN: Thursday, January 18th @ 9:30am – 11:30am
WHERE: 315 Lisgar St, Ottawa

• Jesus & Justice: Working Together for God’s Just Kingdom
A half-day conference to encourage and equip the church in Ottawa to work together for God’s just kingdom through prayer, acts of charity, and advocacy.
WHEN: Friday, January 19 @ 8:30 am to 1:00 pm
WHERE: Rideauview Bible Chapel (1249 Prince of Wales Drive)
Keynote speaker is Mark Wollenberg, National Director of Church Mobilization for the International Justice Mission (IJM).
Also includes workshops with local justice ministries and national and international organizations on poverty, refugee rights, and human trafficking.
*CHRI's Dianne will be Out & About with Arnprior Chrysler at this event.

• ReAlign 2018: Praying for God’s Just Kingdom
Representatives of local justice ministries will lead us through the Lord’s Prayer with a justice lens.
WHEN: Friday, January 19 @ 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
WHERE: Rideauview Bible Chapel (1249 Prince of Wales Drive)

- Use your Bible study time to pray.
- Join local-area churches for a combined prayer time.
- Gather neighbours or neighbouring churches and prayer-walk.
